Kuito — MPs with the National Assembly met on Tuesday with health and education staff of Kuito city, central Bié province, to learn about their activities.
In brief declarations to the press, the MP Joaquim Wanga, who led the delegation, referred that the meeting aims at assessing the difficulties faced by the aforesaid sectors, chiefly on the service to patients and on the teaching and learning process.
According to him, after the briefing, the concerns will be channelled to the National Assembly in order to intervene, together with the government, so as to find proper solutions to the problems.
He also informed that similar meetings were held with traditional authorities, civil society and local businessmen.
The source also announced that similar meetings will be held in the districts of Katabola, Kamacupa, Kuemba, Chinguar, Chitembo, Kunhinga, Andulo and Nharea.
