Angola: Journalists Regret Ndunduma's Death

Luanda — The Union of Angolan Journalists (UJA) addressed on Tuesday a condolences message over the passing away of the journalist Costa Andrade "Ndunduma".

"The man died and the work remained. In this hour of sorrow and pain, UJA bows to the memory of its founding member, by addressing to the National Assembly (parliament), to the National Union of Plastic Artists (UNAP) and to the Angolan Writers Union the deepest condolences over the death of its member, which extended to the family of the deceased", reads the document.

UJA also recalls the deeds of Ndunduma and considers that the journalist assumed his role in the solid training of various professionals who are today a compulsory reference of the sector in the country.

Ndunduma, who was also an MP, perished at the age of 73 in Lisbon (Portugal) last September 18 due to long illness.
