Nigeria: Utaka Challenge Begins On HITV

Lagos — The John Utaka Premier League Challenge will soon begin to be viewed on HITV. This followed an exclusive Programme Broadcast Agreement between the management of HITV and Arthur Mackenzie who are the developers and managers of the programme.

The agreement signing ceremony was held recently at the Victoria Island Lagos, head office of HITV. Mr Olumide Amure, Chief Operating Officer of HITV signed on behalf of satellite broadcast organization while Mr Arthur Anijah-Obi, Executive Director of Arthur Mackenzie Limited, signed on behalf of the owners and developers of the television quiz competition.

As part of the ceremony, Mr Anijah-Obi presented an autographed copy of John Utaka's Portsmouth jersey to Mr Amure, to be forwarded to Mr Toyin Subair, CEO of HITV, who was unavoidable absent.

The John Utaka Premier League Challenge is a TV quiz programme based on a simple concept of one Premier League fan winning cash prizes as he or she answers questions correctly. The cash prize to be won increases as every question is answered correctly summing up to a whooping Eleven Million Naira. This means that as the contestant answers eleven consecutive questions correctly he or she wins the grand cash prize.

The game show is also expected to bring the passion of the EPL, the entertainment of a world class production, the excitement of a TV quiz show as well as a bank of knowledge and information about the English Premier League

Already football fans have started visiting the TV game show website, www.premierleaguechallenge.com to play the online demo as they await the formal kick off. According to the organizers, John Utaka's share of proceeds from the television game show will be channeled into poverty alleviation through the John Utaka Foundation.
