Those with a passion for band music thronged Silk Lounge on Thursday watch Ronald Mayinja got 'unplugged' during the monthly Club Beer-sponsored event in Silk Lounge.

The show started after 8p.m. with live instruments played loudly by the Eagles Production Band instrumentalists. When a casually-dressed Mayinja stepped on to stage, the audience welcomed him with wild cheers.

He did a number of his hits ranging from classics like more recent ones like Tuli Ku Bunkenke.

Part of the audience seemed to know all Mayinja's songs while some section waited for the popular songs to cheer.

Africa and Abalina Sente were some of the songs that got the place on fire but new songs like Nkwagala Nyo received mixed reception.

The general atmosphere inside the club was also on a rollercoaster as the audience got super-excited at one moment and then looked like they wanted it ended at the next moment.

However, Mayinja proved he knows how to work the crowd by engaging them into a sing-along and screaming on the top of his voice.
