Lagos — Caster Semenya won the 800 metres race in style. The defending world champion came in second, and a full two minutes behind the speedster, Semenya. Semenya got the gold and some tongues began to wag. First they tested her for drugs and discovered to their chagrin that she was as clean as an unused whistle. Next they decided to confirm whether she was actually a woman.

That they addressed her as Ïshe" in their references to her ought to have settled the matter. Semenya was born a woman and she dressed, talked and believed herself to be a woman. She entered for women races and won a handful of them. She had plans to marry and settle down with a man. But the International Amateur Athletics Association, which ordered the test, is composed of old men who are used to analogue ways of doing things.

In this digital age they do not believe that a woman can be a digital runner and a live cyborg. They would not have minded if she came third or second, but first? That is why some successes should not come at certain times. Now they have come out with the result and it is that Semenya has dual sex status. This, in effect, means that Semenya is part man and part woman " or to couch it more nicely, she is actually a man in a womanÌs clothing.

At this point I expected women rights group to be up in arms, fighting for Semenya and stopping men from laying claim to one of their own. Whatever happened to the women who proclaimed in the streets and on the hilltops that whatever a man can do a woman can do even better? Here was Semenya trying to prove that, and the wicked men stopped her. And the women yawned and looked idly away.

Now take the case of Usain Bolt. Like Semenya, Bolt left the other men in the 100 and 200 metres races gasping for breath and looking at the back of his head. Even Michael Johnson, an Olympic medalist, has described him as a freak of nature. Bolt was tested for drugs and he came out clean. And the old school folks in IAAF rested the matter there and went their sloppy way.

And this sucks plenty because the treatment of Bolt is not fair (not fair at all) to Semenya. Have they thought of testing Bolt to see whether he is half animal and half man? No. Yet if you look at Bolt very closely, he would remind you of the last time you saw a horse. Why have they not tested him to find out whether he is more of a horse than a man? My submission is that the man has dual -species status " he is part horse and part man. Yet IAAF is minded to allow this horse -man keep running and stop Semenya from running.

So what happens to Semenya now? The entire process is continuous because further tests are needed to determine whether her status gives her so much advantage that she cannot compete with women anymore. In the eventuality that this happens, whom would she run with? I suggest that men should not allow her to run with them because she has a dual sex status and this could give her undue disadvantage.

What all this points to is that her right to exploit her potential to the full has been violated by men who do not believe that Ïseeing is believing." When you see a Mercedes Benz car, why should you check the engine to see whether it has a Mercedes engine or not? Semenya is a woman and that settles the matter.

Scientists are a bundle of confused ignoramuses who do not even believe in God. They believe that there was a Îbig bangÌ which spiralled the universe and everything into being. Just a bang! By accident! And by accident, too, the earth came to where it could harbour life. By accident some cells came together and formed a living organism. By accident the simple organism became complex and animal life began. By accident the most complex organism on earth (the human species) was formed and, by accident, are cousins to chimpanzees. And even though some of them do not comb their hair and actually look like chimpanzees and eat bananas like chimps, I find it hard to believe that they are descended from chimps.

If they had claimed that man descended from horses, and they put up Usain Bolt as the missing link, I would have given the theory a second thought. But they had to place this libel and slander on chimpanzees because chimps walk on two legs. And more so, horses have suffered enough in the hands of men to be made to bear this indignity. But if there is any truth in the fraud known as the theory of evolution, it is Usain Bolt÷ and horses. Unfortunately the theory is a scam.

And the same scammers want us to believe that Caster Semenya is a man because of some tests. What if she were born two hundred years ago, would she not have competed with women? Now we have become slaves to old men who spend their miserable days looking through the microscope at things we do not need to know. When we see a woman we know one! For GodÌs sake, the world is full of masculine women and effeminate men. If Semenya is too masculine to run with women and should rather run with men, then some effeminate men are likewise too effeminate to run with men and should run with women.

And for crying out aloud, what has science got to do with athletics? Scientists do not run nor exercise! They should keep their noses out of athletics and their microscopes out of our paths. Or if they must join the fun, let them begin with Usain Bolt, not Semenya. Let them first prove that Usain Bolt is actually a man " not a monster.
