Uganda: Court Gives Fufa 15 Days to Respond

High Court yesterday summoned Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa) officials to file a response to a case filed by Express Sports Club challenging the legal existence of the federation.

At the same time, Express wrote to the Education and Sports Minister Namirembe Bitamazire articulating concerns over press statements made by her junior Charles Bakkabulindi and National Council of Sports (NCS), which suggest that local federations legally exist.
