Harare — HIGH-RIDING South African kwaito prodigy DJ Cndo invades the capital in a one-off show slated for Stars Night Club tomorrow.
This would be a first of its kind as Cndo, real name Sindisiwe Zungu plays at a five star joint synonymous with high profile gigs.
For kwaito fans who have been longing for her latest CD titled Finest Lady of House Vol 3, are sure not to miss on this as DJ Cndo launches the album in style.
Backed by Harare's finest turntable spinners the duo of Dee Nosh and L Roy, the gig is like nothing you have seen as the Cndo knows how to jam and is a proud 'Durbanite'.
According to Dee Nosh, the organiser of the gig, the party rocks until early hours of the morning with a selection of house, kwaito as well as R&B.
"DJ Cndo will make an appearance at Trade Centre internet café in the afternoon just to mix and mingle with her fans. Later in the evening it's going to be party time till music lovers drop. "Don't miss this one as it only comes once a year," he said.
The 23-year-old born in KwaZulu-Natal has already got rave reviews from South African Press who described her as "yet another whizz-kid."
In an interview with City Press DJ Cndo said: "I have always loved music from a young age and wanted to be a singer. I became a DJ after realising that I cannot sing,"
One of few female DJs, Cndo (pronounced Sin-doh) started her career with DJs Tira and Sox, who record music as Durban's Finest. Finest Lady of House Volume 1 was her first album.
The album features the producer of Woze Durban T'zozo En Professor.
In 2005 Durban's Finest saw her potential and invited her under the Durban's Finest umbrella. After that she started playing in most Durban's finest parties around Durban.
