Nigeria: Investments Tribunal Resolves 300 Cases

Enugu — Chairman, Investments and Securities Tribunal, Dr Nnenna Orji, yesterday in Enugu, said about 300 cases with monetary value of about N100 billion have been arbitrated upon by the Tribunal within six years.

Orji, who spoke during the opening of Enugu zonal office of the tribunal, said the tribunal has adjudicated on disputes arising from rules, regulations and other guidelines made by the Security and Exchange Commission, appeals against disciplinary measures by the Commission, such as suspension, as well as suits by victims seeking to be compensated under the Investors' Protection Fund.
