The criminal case involving the state and one Alkali Dampha resumed yesterday before Justice Moses Richards of the Special Criminal Court in Banjul.
The accused was docked on two counts of criminality , obtaining goods by false pretence and forging documents of Kanifing Magistrates Courts. According to the particulars of the offence, the accused with intent to defraud, obtained the sum of one thousand pounds sterling from one Caroline Mary Buxton by false pretence that the money is meant for his son Michael who is standing trial before the Kanifing Magistrates Court.
