Namibia: The Binding Social Contract and Good Governance

Namibia has been ranked among the three best-governed countries in Southern Africa by this year's index and Ibrahim index of African governance. This is a milestone achievement for which all Namibians should be proud despite the unfortunate incidences of some former 'masters' trying to lecture us on good governance in a clear interference in our internal affairs.

It is also good to hear that voters' registration was impressive, with Khomas registering more than 50 000, followed by Omusati and Ohangwena with more than 30 000, Oshana, Kavango and Oshikoto regions with more than 20 000 registered voters followed by Erongo with 18 000.
