Abuja — Ondo state governor, Olusegun Mimiko, has described the militants' amnesty programme of President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua as divinely inspired because of the large number of militants that have embraced the offer which he said would reduce the restiveness in the region.
Mimiko who said this while on a courtesy call on the Minister of Labour & Productivity, Prince Kayode Adetokunbo, in Abuja yesterday, added that the programme was initially greeted with cynicism by many Nigerians because of the thought that it would fail.
