Accra — An added time goal scored by the Squirrels of Benin secured them an Angola 2010 ticket, as well as blight Ghana Black Stars' hundred percent record, in their penultimate World/ African Cup qualifier in Cotonou, yesterday.

After the two sides probed unsuccessfully during regulation time, a Beninois right winger went past his Ghanaian opponent to send a low cross for a connection to beat goalkeeper Richard Kingson in the 93rd minute, seconds away from the end of the game.

Both teams produced a below average performance in the patchy game, which was more of an academic exercise for the World Cup candidate.

But it was Ghana's goalkeeper Kingson, who stood prevented an avalanche of goals, by denying the home side goal scoring opportunities on countless times.

The Beninois began probing the Ghanaians attack in the early stages of the game, but their efforts were ineffective to fetch the opener.
