Somalia: Govt Signs Deal With Food Inspection Firm

Mogadishu — Somalia's interim government has inked an agreement with a firm to inspect food and medical products before they are imported into Somalia, Radio Garowe reports.

Somali Commerce Minister Abdirashid Mohamed "Irro" told a Wednesday press conference that the deal with Bureau Veritas will help improve the quality of food and medical products in Somalia.
