Somalia: President Sharif Disproves That the TFG is Recruiting Young Somalis in Kenya

Somalia — The president of the transitional government Sharif Sheik Ahmed has Monday held press conference in the Somali capital Mogadishu and disproved that the government is recruiting young Somalis as soldiers in the neighboring Kenya.

The president has also talked more about his international trip to more countries in the world like the United States of America and Liya saying that he had met with many international leaders in New York meeting pointing out that had discussed with the heads for more issues concerning Somalia and how he would get support to the TFG.

"I talked more about the Somali matters with the leaders whom I had met during my trip. I also put the pressure how the Somali people would be supported, how the government would get full support from the international community and also how the peace and the security of Somalia would be returned," president Sharif Said.

The statement of the transitional president Sharif Sheik Ahmed comes as there have been reports indicating that the TFG was recruiting young Somalis as soldiers in the neighboring Kenya.
