THE Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Zambia yesterday said it was devastated by the death of former State House special assistant for Press and public relations, John Musukuma.
MISA Zambia chairperson, Henry Kabwe said in a statement that the late veteran journalist worked tirelessly to provide the people of Zambia with information about key Government decisions through the media.
Mr Kabwe said Mr Musukuma contributed greatly towards the devising of a financial model to effectively transform the broadcasting establishment into cohesive and viable media.
Mr Musukuma, 64, died on Monday morning at his Kalonga Farms off Nampundwe Road after an illness.
His sister-in-law, Grace Chanda said in Lusaka yesterday that the family had not yet set the burial date for Mr Musukuma.
The funeral is being held at the deceased's farm.
