Harare — Western nations hostile to Zimbabwe and its leadership have budgeted over US$700 million to influence illegal regime change under the guise of humanitarian assistance.
Addressing Joint Command and Staff Course number 22 students at Zimbabwe Staff College yesterday, Minister of State for National Security Sydney Sekeramayi, said Zimbabwe was under serious threat.
"The biggest western monetary injections into Zimbabwe is not towards development, but humanitarian plus some interventions designed to condition the masses to be amenable to illegal regime change.
"Such interventions have a budget which is in excess of US$700 million, thus underscoring the huge investment towards subverting Zimba-bwe's security," he said.
Minister Sekeramayi said Zimbabwe had more than 2 500 non-governmental organisations, the bulk of them driven by one fundamental theme of illegal regime change.
"That industry currently employs more people than the formal sector of the Zimbabwean economy.
"Thus the industry that seeks to overthrow President Mugabe and Zanu-PF employs a significant population, institutions and formations," he said.
Minister Sekeramayi said Britain and its western allies embarked on a demonisation campaign against Zimbabwe through false media reports.
"The purpose of this global information warfare, fought by CNN, BBC, Sky News and Aljazeera, is aimed at discrediting the Zimbabwe land reform (programme) by assaulting the morality behind the noble exercise.
"The pirate radio stations continue to illegally broadcast in spite of the fact that they are outlawed by the Global Political Agreement, which gave birth to the inclusive Government."
Minister Sekeramayi said the illegal sanctions imposed by the West posed the most direct threat to Zimbabwe's security.

That is not true. The true enermy to the Zimbabwean people and their existance is zanupf.
One wonders why then Zanu PF virtually says nothing.If a minister says something now it is not known which side he represents. A minister who benefits from such an arrangement such as those from MDC-T will claim that it is a lie especially if the thing becomes clearly embarassing. Why are these mercenary groupings posing as humanitarian organisations allowed to continue? Zanu PF and the liberation movement as a whole are bound to lose whatever they fought for if they put on white gloves to face the present enemy. Even a 12 year old child sees that the liberation movement is losing out. The white farmers who lost their heavens in our country, backed by the entire still strong apartheid infrastructure in South Africa and the entire imperialist might is advancing using garden boys, prostitutes, taxi touts, rapists, convicted criminals and out right thieves and those blacks who opposed the liberation struggle. Even the revived Zapu stands no chance to be what they were! Sipepa's anger at the low turnout in Tsholotsho must have sent the message clear to all and yet surprisingly nothing is being done! As for some Zanu PF one wonders what they are doing. Their children and some their wives followed the white farmers to England, Australia, New Zealand and everywhere just for them to be overseas. Unfortunately they will politically perish and be a laughing lot also. It is not going to be R.G. Mugabe alone! My heart is bleeding. There is no mention of pirate radio stations in the GPA. Why does ZANU-PF continue to act as if it does! And there's nothing "illegal" about a radio station transmitting across international borders. In today's world, you cannot prevent all the people, all the time from finding out the truth about how bad you are. Get used to it. If you want people to like you, maybe you should try to change your behavior instead.
So the purpose of humanitarian aid is now to achieve illegal regime change? This is just about the most disgusting thing I have read in this rag. Clearly Mugabe and his mob haven't changed their plan to empower the people of Zimbabwe back to the stone-age. GPA's or other agreements mean nothing to these crooks. Everything single action they take is about one of two things, and usually both. Power retention or self enrichment. How long can the people of Zimbabwe put up with it?

Ask yourself, "who has lied to us more?". The supposedly evil "West" agreed to leave Zimbabwe alone, did that help? When opposition mounted to Mugabe's bid for an eternal Presidency, his opponents were labelled Rhoadies, how well has Bloodstained Bob served YOU since 2000?
Someday, I hope Zimbabwe truly is "Totally Empowered!" without the yoke of ZANU-Poof's post-colonial slavery, until Comrade Bob leaves us or ZANU-Poof implodes, I am hoping for intelligent and moderate voices inside Zimbabwe to rise up for their common interests and resit this post-marxist sham of a government............................
