Tunis — For its 6th stopover Mediterranean, "Thalassa" the French TV program, broadcasting every Friday, choose to make an expedition to Tunisia.

Sea, land and sky, past and present, mythical places, tourist areas have been explored with ingenuity and nostalgia. Away from the tourist well-known expeditions, the journey began on the side of the Northwestern of Tunisia, specifically from the Algerian-Tunisian border.

In Tabarka, explorers are on the boat "Tara", coming from Nice. The report states the region in its geographical and historical context where thousands of Maltese and Hispanic borrowed the coast of Tabarka to conduct commerce.

Heading to Rocks of Raf raf, which lies at the tip of Tunisia.The land of farmers, then the port of Sidi Daoud, where ancient fishing practices were then explored.

Tara continues its expedition boarding the Gulf of Gabes.

To Sfax, Tara continues its path. Another town in southern Tunisia. Explorers stop not far from the metropolis. The port of Sfax connects with Kerkennah a fascinating peninsula.

The team continues its voyage to Djerba. Forty hotels are planted on the west coast of the island. The reporter focuses on the mixture of cultures and religions.

The team makes another ballad to Ichkeul Park which welcomes thousands of migrant birds and mammals.

Tunis and Hammamet were the next steps. The team borrowed the TGM train towards the northern suburbs. At La Goulette, the Cinema director Ferid Boughedir was the guide. He led Thalassa's team up the beach and popular restaurants.

After visiting the fort, the synagogue and La Goulette, the team went to Carthage, where it crosses the Museum, the church, and numerous archaeological sites

In short, Djerba, Sousse, Hammamet, at each destination, the crew and the boat were welcomed with a red carpet.

In Mahdia, "Thalassa" team arrives at the hour of prayers but shooting continued. Guided by Selma Hafsa, an archaeologist, the team went to the souk in the capital of Hafsid. This city is open to mass tourism, but its people remain attached to their customs.
