Tunisia: Political Figures Cast Their Votes

Tunis — Prime Minister and deputy- chairman of the Constitutional Democratic Rally (RCD) Mohamed Ghannouchi headed, on Sunday morning, to Sousse city where he carried out his electoral duty for the 2009 presidential and legislative elections.

RCD secretary-general Mohamed Ghariani cast his vote at the "Mendès France" primary school polling station, in Tunis.

For his part, People's Unity Party (PUP) secretary- general and candidate for presidency Mohamed Bouchiha voted in one of the polling stations of the Hédi Chaker school, in Tunis.

Unionist Democratic Union (UDU) secretary-general and candidate for presidency Ahmed Inoubli went to the city of Jendouba where he voted at the Ibn Sina school polling station.

Ettajdid Movement secretary-general and candidate for the presidential election Ahmed Brahim carried out his electoral duty at an El-Menzah IX high school polling station.

Socialist Democrats Movement (MDS) secretary-general Ismail Boulehya voted at the El-Menzah "Beau-Site" secondary school.

For his part, Green for Party for Progress (PVP) secretary-general Mongi Khammassi voted in one of the polling stations of Bab Lakouass primary school, in Tunis.

Social Liberal Party (PSL) secretary-general Mondher Thabet voted at the Tunis Ibn Khaldun II primary school polling station, in Tunis.
