Uganda: Man Sells Pork in Muslim Attire

Kampala — KAMULI-The Police are holding a man who dressed in Muslim attire to sell pork. Paul Kamogoli was found in Ndolwa Makanga trading centre in Buyende sub-county, dressed in a white tunic and a Muslim cap.

A gang of angry Muslims led by the chairman of Kamuli Muslim Supreme Council, Haji Sirajje Mugoya, arrested him and took him to Kamuli Police station. Kamogoli, however, asked the Police what part of the penal code act he had broken. I bought the attire in a public place, not a mosque and I can use it anywhere, anyhow," he snapped.
