Kampala — NATIONAL marathon record holder Alex Malinga believes he can set a new mark.
Malinga, who ran 2:12:12 to set the record in Finland in 2005, leads upcoming runners David Kiteria and Irene Chemisto in the Standard Chartered Bank Nairobi marathon today.
Standard Chartered Bank has offered sh20m for five runners entered in the Nairobi marathon and similar races in Singapore and Hong Kong due later on.
The runners are out to make an impact in the events.
