Kigali — DIEUDONNE Disi produced an amazing run to win the 31st edition of the Marseille-Cassis 'Classique Internationale' race over the weekend in France.

The 29-year-old long distance gazelle clocked 1:00:21 to win the Iaaf Silver Label Road race dubbed the Marseille-Cassis 'Classique Internationale'.

Disi, who was a runner-up last year broke loose in the closing stages to leave his compatriots shot of words.

Disi was 11th with 600m to go but overlapped the pack to finish six seconds clear of Tanzania's Samuel Shari and a further 45 seconds clear of Martin Toroitich of Uganda who clocked 1:01:06 to finish 3rd.
