Uganda: Nigeria's Kevin Proves Invincible

Kampala — Either Big Brother is cheating for Nigeria's Kevin, or that bulky dude has just mastered his game of fooling all the M-Net reality show fans that he is the best guy in there.

In what could prove this guess, South Africa's Quinn Sieber was on Sunday evicted from the Big Brother Revolution house along with her comrade-in-arms, Krystal Culverwell from Zimbabwe.

Quinn's ouster declares South Africa down and out of the game since her other housemate, Liziwe Coka, was evicted a week ago. Zimbabwe retains one - Itai Makumbe, who, though still in the house, is not a favourite of many.

Once more, Kevin Chuwang, who led to the eviction of both Ugandan housemates, along with his Tanzanian comrade-in-arms, Elizabeth, survived. With the way viewers of the show across Africa were baying for Kevin's blood, his survival came as a miracle.

Only Malawi, Namibia, South Africa, Uganda and Zimbabwe voted against him and Krystal; while the other nine participant countries, and the rest of Africa, voted to save Kevin and evict Quinn and Krystal, who left with a consolation sh4,2m and sh4,7m from their Big Brother money pot respectively.

Now with 10 housemates left on the show, pairing of housemates is no longer applicable. Each one will play as an individual until the finale on December 6, when one of the contestants walks out of there $200,000 richer. Who will it be?

Meanwhile the housemates nominated each other yesterday. Malawi's Mzamo and Kenya's Jeremy had the most votes (6 and 5 respectively), but head of house Nkenna was expected to save Mzamo and replace her with someone else. Look out for whose head is on the chopping block in tomorrow's newspaper.
