Nigeria: Jang to Complete N4bn Gindiri Water Project

Jos — Governor David Jonah Jang of Plateau State has pledged to complete N4.4billion Gindiri Water Project initiated by the previous administration.

The special adviser to the Governor On Political Affairs Mr. William stated this while speaking with Daily trust yesterday in Jos, He said the Project will help the communities to get portable water, create employment opportunities and boost agricultural activities in the area though dry season farming.

Mr. William said apart from 5kilometres road constructed by the Governor in all the 17 local government areas, government intend to build primary and secondary schools in all the council areas and renovate the dilapidated building structures neglected by the previous administrations in the state.

The adviser said government had already commenced all these projects including the local government's that did not vote for the governor for the development of the entire plateau state " we are building 20 primary schools 20 secondary schools in each local Governments."

He advised political elites in the state to cooperate with the government in its desire to bring development to the door steps of the electorates.
