They narrowly defeated Stade Mandji of Gabon 29-28 in the quarter final.

MINUH handball club is the only Cameroonian team that has qualified for the semi finals of the 31st edition of the African Handball Clubs Cup currently taking place at the Yaounde Sports Complex. The Boys of the ministry of Urban Affairs narrowly defeated their opponents, Stade Mandji of Gabon 29-28 in a hotly contested quarter final match. Both sides were almost at parity by full time after MINUH came behind from a six point deficit to level scores with Stade Mandji at the dying minutes of regular time necessitating a ten-minute prolongation. The parity could not be separated after the first half of extra time and it took luck for MINUH to secure a one goal advantage which they conserved till the end of the match. The other Cameroonian semi finalist in the men's category could not make it having bowed to Primero of Angola, 29-24. The match was fairly equal from the beginning but Primero took the upper hand towards the dying minutes of the match.

The situation of MINUH reminded the misfortune of TKC in the female category who were butted out of the competition at the very last minute. 46 seconds to the end of the encounter, TKC was leading by 24 to 23 and needed just to conserve the ball to obtain victory but unfortunately lost the ball to Primero who equalised in the dying seconds, thereby eliminating TKC from the competition. TKC like FAP in the feminine category, got up to a good start by winning their first matches but lost the second and third, thereby leaving the competition prematurely. There will therefore be no Cameroonian team in the semi finals in the feminine category as all two representatives, FAP and TKC were butted out at the group stage. There will be no quarter finals in the feminine category given that there were just two groups. Group leaders therefore precede directly to the semi finals in the women's category.
