Tunis — "Here is in picture the concert that thousands of people would have seen last summer," this is how Kenny Ortega, the American film director, introduced his new movie "This is it". It is a movie on King of Pop Michael Jackson life during the last four months.
"This is it" will be screened in Tunisia from Friday, October 30 at the initiative of Tarek Ben Ammar's company "Quinta Communications", in several cinemas in Tunisia: "Hannibal" El Manar, "Alhambra" in La Marsa, "Le Colise" in Tunis, the "Palace" in Sousse and "l'Etoile" in Sfax.
Filmed during rehearsals in preparation for a tour around the world, scheduled for July 2009 and March 2010, the film collects testimonies of members of the Jackson family, friends and those who worked with him.
Tunisia is among the first countries where the film will be screened after the United States and some european countries .The movie is screened in preview tonight in Paris.
Very popular in Tunisia, Michael Jackson gave in Tunisia his first show in Africa and the Arab world, an evening of October 7, 1996, at "El Menzah" Stadium.
