Tunis — 17 Tunisian radio productions and 18 television productions will take part in the 15th edition of Cairo Arab Media Festival (CAMF) in media production city which is due to be on November 11 to 15, 2009.
The Cairo Arab Media Festival aims at improving the standard of radio and television production throughout the Arab world.
Regarding radio production contest concerning historical shows, Tunisia will participate with "Seif bani thi yazne" the event will be showcased in 21 episodes.
Concerning social series, Tunisia will participate with two works including "Rahmana" in 63 episodes displaying Tunisia in "Hafsid" era and the Spanish conquest to Tunisia and the second dubbed "Tahar Haddad" in 23 episodes showcasing the fight between the religious thought and the trade union's movement in Tunisia.
Regarding the talk show, Tunisia will take part with a show dubbed "moon on maximum talk" focusing on dialogue between civilizations and also another one entitled "frankly talking" aims at showing advantages and drawbacks of private studies in schools through parents, teachers and ministry in charge opinions as well as students' opinion along with 2 other shows one of which deal with "A/H1N1 virus" .
Concerning radio investigation, Tunisia will screen "Gafsa, land of green gold" highlighting oil sector in Gafsa and its role in diversifying economic fabrics as well as the harvest season, however regarding investigation show, Tunisia will screen also four shows such as "Telescope", "children rights, how and why?".
As far as special shows are concerned, a show dubbed "the challenger" will stress the role of persistence and challenge in achieving success.
Whereas children shows and song shows, Tunisia will take part respectively with 2 shows including "ears paradise" and 3 songs.
In addition to all of that Tunisia will showcase two commercial advertisements and two advertisements related to social aspects.
Moreover, regarding show contests Tunisia will participate with on show dubbed "we are like that".
Two cultural seminars, one engineering seminar and an exhibition of radio and television equipment and devices as well as multi-media will be organized on the sidelines of the 15th Cairo Arab Media Festival in the Exhibitions Hall in the Shopping Mall of "City Star".
It was announced that only December 2008 until August 2009 radio and television production, will take part in the 4-dat event.
Organizations and Arab radio and television staff and companies along with Arab public and private production companies , advertising agencies and service companies related to information sector as well as companies specialized in hardware and radio and television equipments will take part in the event.
Awards will be given to Arab actors and Arab radio and television production countries including the "Najib Mahfouth" prize will be awarded to the best scriptwriter for the entire collection of work produced, during the closing ceremony.
