Rwanda: Nziyonsenga Joins Camp

Kigali — THE national women U-20 team was yesterday given a huge boost after APR Custodian Francine Nziyonsenga finally got the necessary documentation to play for the national side.

The 18-year old shot stopper with a Congolese parentage missed the first leg after failing to get the necessary paper work from the immigrations offices but her availability has left the team's assistant coach Grace Nyinawumuntu more confident.

"She is a top goal keeper and would have done better with Uganda's second goal," Nyinawumuntu said.

Meanwhile, the team's head coach Andreas Spier has drafted Hamida Murekatete into the team. The APR striker is expected to provide cover should there be any injuries in attack.

Rwanda needs a win to qualify for the next round, where they will face Zambia.

The U-20 women World Cup will take place in Germany in 2011.
