Nigeria: Yuguda Drums Support for Eaglets

Bauchi — Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda has bought all the tickets worth over N20 million for the three matches that will be played at the centre.

With this development, hopes of football enthusiasts from neighbouring states that intended to watch the matches may have been dashed as the selling points of the tickets within Bauchi metropolis have exhausted their allocations.

A member of the Bauchi Sub-Seat LOC who pleaded anonymity confirmed the development but refused to elaborate saying, "the state government bought all the tickets for the three matches but since we were not involved, we are waiting to see what will happen."

On the fate of those who are coming from neighboring states to watch the matches, he said: "Well, we don't know what to do as all we are concerned with is a successful hosting; it is left for the marketing people to try as much as possible to sort things out. We need the crowd especially for Today's match involving Nigeria and Argentina, so that the Golden Eaglets will get the needed home support."

At the Government House, an official who did not want his name in print confirmed the development.

"Already, distribution strategy has been mapped out to ensure that the tickets got to the right hand because we want to see that the stadium was filled to capacity. Everyone who desires to watch the match live will get the tickets from the government," he said.
