Lagos — She has a sonorous voice like that of a bird of songs, coming with a deft and powerful delivery each time she handles the microphone. Ms Blessing Raphael Ige, otherwise known as Queen Bebra has come a long way in music and all this experience, she has brought to bear in her debut album entitled, Lubulubu (Yoruba word for song of the river).

Born and bred in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, Queen Bebra, originally from Imo State, is under the management of Truetalent Africa Records, the label that produced Buga few years ago.

An economic graduate of the Lagos State University, Queen Bebra has grown even more ambitious than her contemporaries, sponsors and teeming supporters would ever have imagined, so much that she's been in high demand at both local and international concerts before the release of her debut album.

The album, which hits the market few weeks from now, caters for everyone; from soulful sonorous African tales/African-urban folks wound around some groovy African percussions laden with hip hop fusion.

It also contains tracks like Lubulubu, to emotion-laden Mama Africa, D Guy is Mine featuring Yinka Davis and street swaggered Enu won L'efa.

After examining the situation of Nigeria, Queen Bebra took a bold step to record the track Make Nigeria Better, a song that diagnoses the social-ills and injustices being perpetrated with impurity by the high and mighty in the society.

The track also encourages patriotism of an average Nigerian even in the face of hardship within their community.
