Tunisia:Michael Jackson's This is It Currently Screened in Country

Tunis — After the great success of Michael Jackson "History World Tour" concert in Tunisia in 1996, gathering over 60,000 young and old spectators, Tunisia is hosting Michael Jackson's THIS ISIT movie on October 30, 2009.

As part of the celebration of President Ben Ali's 2009 re-election, and thanks to Michael Jackson's Tunisian former manager Mr. Tarak Ben Ammar, international movie producer and distributer as well as the owner of the French production and distribution company "Quinta Communications", Tunisia is the first Arab and African country that will screen the movie among 75 other foreign countries such as United States, Belgium, France, China.

The movie is about MJ's last rehearsals at the state-of-the-art concert O2 Arena, London includes videos clips, flashes, MJ on stage and backstage, subsequent rehearsals with interview snippets featuring musicians, singers, choreographers and costume designers.

Michael Jackson's THIS IS IT documentary is taking fans into a journey in time and space treating them with tracks of his major hits such as "Thriller", "Smooth Criminal", "Beat It", "Billie Jean", "History, "They don't really care about us", "I'll be there", "Earth song", "Man in the Mirror" and many other songs from his old and new albums, some of them are accompanied by elaborate mini-movies, some shot with special effects, including 3-D.

In a communiqué recently released by Tarak Ben Ammar's Quinta Communications, Sony Music Entertainment will screen THIS IS IT movie in more than 850 theaters in about 75 country around the world from October 28 for two weeks only.

According to Michael Jackson's manager Kenny Ortega, "THIS IS IT is a tribute to MJ and it is dedicated to Michael's fans" saying "he wanted to share it with everyone".

Michael Jackson's THIS IS IT was scheduled to tour 50 countries around the world on July 2009 until August 2010 before his death.

The first show, was screened on Friday morning for journalist in headquarter of Quinta Communication in Guammart, and the other shows will be at "Hannibal" El Manar, "Alhambra" La Marsa, "the Star" Sfax, Sousse "cultural Center", and Gabes "culturam center" .

The love that his works inspire is also that of a self- made singer and artist who has left a permanent stamp on World artistic creation. No doubt that many Tunisian fans will flock to the cinemas where the movie is screened.
