Tunis — On the occasion of brotherly Algerian people's celebration of the 55th anniversary of the glorious November 1st Revolution, President Zine el Abidine Ben Ali sent a congratulatory message to President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.

In this message, the Head of State points up the Algerian people's heroic struggle and the great sacrifices it made to earn its independence, glory and dignity, hailing the development and comprehensive progress sisterly Algeria has been living through, under his judicious leadership.

The President of the Republic voices, in this message deep satisfaction at the excellent level reached by the longstanding brotherly ties, the fruitful co-operation, as well as the positive evolution that the Tunisian-Algerian relations are witnessing.

The Head of State reasserts constant attachment to carry on joint work to strengthen, enrich and develop these relations to achieve the two brotherly peoples' aspirations to further complementarity and solidarity, contribute to consolidating the foundations of the Arab Maghreb edifice and achieve welfare of the region's peoples.
