Tunis — During a press conference held on Friday, "Microsoft" announced the launch of new operating systems for laptops (PCs) in Tunisia:"Windows 7", "Windows Server 2008 R2" and "Exchange Server 2010".
Mrs. Salwa Smaoui, Director General of Microsoft in Tunisia explained that Microsoft has promised a host of new features in "Windows 7".
This new operating system, which will replace "Vista", is simple to use and easy to connect with home networks or other devices.
"Windows 7" users will benefit from the focus on underlying performance, faster startup, resuming and shut down time, and enhanced power management. Computing settings are in one place with the Windows Mobility Center.
"Windows 7" will be marketed in Tunisia within few days as a USB key. Users can get hold of the edition at reasonable prices, with special discounts for students.
Alongside the launch of "Windows 7", Microsoft is marketing the latest version of Exchange Server 2010 to help users improve business results.
