THE identity of the boyfriend of Kristal, the evicted Zimbabwean Big Brother 4 housemate, has finally been revealed. In an interview with Standardplus, Jonathan Pike confirmed that he was the man in Kristal's life.

"We only started dating 10 months ago. It was pure chemistry. It was mutual. We love each other."

Pike stays in Chisipite and is a trainee chartered accountant with a leading international firm.

He said he was elated that Kristal had kept to her word to be loyal to their relationship when she spent 49 days in the Big Brother House.

"I took Kristal to her first audition. I was there when she received a phone call asking her to audition for the second time in Johannesburg," said Pike who is a hunk.

"When she got through she kept it a secret for sometime but she later told me.

"I knew a month before she went into the house that she was a BB participant," Pike said.

Pike who is related to former Studio 263 actor Joe Pike, who played Jacob in the soap said at first he was overwhelmed by the fame and publicity that goes with BB.

"I knew she was faithful but I only became confident when she kept on talking about me.

"I had some friends who told me that it was all over for me. I am glad she proved them wrong," he said.

On her performance in the house he said: "She was herself and I am extremely proud of her. She was entertaining and representative of the country."

Pike, who says Kristal smokes more than he does, said he first met his "soulmate" four years ago.
