Kampala — TWENTY firms will battle in the Gulu Walk charity golf tournament at Uganda Golf Club course, Kitante today.
The event, organised by an international NGO, Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief Uganda (CPAR), is geared at raising funds to assist Acholi children who were displaced by the armed conflict in northern Uganda.
"We are honoured to be the centre of this tournament and we are trying to raise sh20m," CPAR executive director Patrick Sambaga explained yesterday. CPAR wants to collect sh188m all over the world.
