Tunis — The Tunisian Taekwondo Federation has organized for the first time in Tunisia and in the African continent a regional Taekwondo Tournament.
The winners will take part in an International Taekwondo Tournament which will be from January 2 to 4, 2010.
African, Asian, and European countries are expected to take part in the 3-day tournament.
The event organizers have announced that the selected Taekwondo athletes will be divided into 4 national teams and "will adequately represent Tunisia in 2012 London Olympic Games.
"This is a very beneficial initiative for Tunisian Taekwondo since it is the first time such an event is organized in Tunisia and in Africa" says Zuhair Nahdi, a Tunisian Taekwondo coach.
