Tunis — A Tunisian delegation led by Mr. Khalil Lejmi Minister of Tourism along with tourist professionals, will take part in the 34th edition of 2009 Travel Trade Workshop (TTW) the largest Swiss travel industry fair, which will take place from November 4 to 5, 2009 at the Montreux Congress Center.
Held annually, the event gathers tourism specialists, travel services, travel and tourism associations, travel consultants and travel industry professionals from around the world.
Since its inception34 years ago, Tunisia has taken part in this trade fair. This year however, Tunisiais is the guest of honor with a stand covering an area of 108 sqm in addition to 218 sqm devoted to animation.
About 22, 9% of Swiss tourists spend 3 or 4 weeks on holidays in Tunisia.
In 2009, 93 thousand Swiss tourists visitd Tunisia, compared to 105 thousands in 2008.
