Nigeria: Two Emirs Expected At ACTDF Fund Launch

Abuja — Two royal personalities, the Emir of Katsina and the Emir of Zaria are expected in Abuja for the African Children Talent Discovery Foundation (ACTDF) fund launch on November 14.

ACTDF President, Engr. Noah Nuhu Dalaji disclosed that both royal fathers will be fathers of the day at the event to announce a N500 million fund launch.

He said the ATCDF is a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) committed to the discovery and development of talents in Africa children.

Other dignitaries expected at the occasion include Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Chief Mike Adenuga as chief launchers.

President Umaru Musa Yar 'adua is expected to be the special guest of honour, while the FCT minister will be the chief host.

Our reporter learnt that the NGO gave out 10 scholarships to secondary students in the FCT that distinguished themselves in an essay competition in July and has been engaged in the renovation of school buildings also in the territory.
