Nigeria/Kenya: 2010 World Cup Qualifier - Amodu Invites 22 Players for Kenya's Match

Abuja — Super Eagles head coach, Shaibu Amodu has named a 22-man squad for Nigeria-must-win last World Cup qualifier match against Kenya on November 14 at the Karasani sport centre in Nairobi.

In a list unveiled to press yesterday at the NFF secretariat, were Vincent Enyeama, Dele Ayenugba, Greg Etafia, Taye Taiwo, Joseph Yobo, Dele Adeleye, Obinna Nwaneri, Dany Shittu, Elderson Echejili, Apam Onyekachi and Chidi Odiah.

Also in the list are Sani Kaita, Yusuf Ayila, John Mikel Obi, Seyi Olofinjana, Femi Ajilore and Skipper Kanu Nwankwo. Others are Michael Eneramo, Obinna Nsofor, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Joseph Akpala, Obafemi Martins and Osaze Odemwingie.

The players are expected to resumed camp in Abuja on Monday, 9th November ahead of the match before depart for Nairobi two days the match.

Nigeria is currently two points drift of their main group rival, Tunisia and need outright win against Kenya on November 14th and hope Tunisia slips in their tie against Mozambique in Maputo to stand a chance of playing at next year's World Cup in South Africa.
