Molepolole — A notorious robber, Botsi Kefitile, 26, of Tshosa Ward in Molepolole, is scheduled to appear before regional magistrate, Lot Moroka next month. Kefitile, who was arrested last month, is charged with several counts of armed robbery and unlawful wounding.

He was scheduled to appear at the Gaborone Village Magistrate's Court on Wednesday but could not due to ill health. The matter was therefore postponed to November 9.

Security agents arrested Kefitile at Ga-kgatla post officewhere he wanted to steal old pensioners' funds. Before his arrest, it is said he shot and wounded a Trojan security officer in Molepolole on October 8.

It is also alleged that on August 28, Kefitile robbed the Afro Butchery in Molepolole of cash amounting to P13, 000. He robbed Score Supermarket of P3, 000 and the Caltex Filling Station of P6, 000 at gunpoint.

The police are still looking for another alleged dangerous suspect, Michael Mogome, who is still at large. A few weeks ago, the suspects are alleged to have shot and injured two people during an armed robbery in Molepolole.

Kefitile has, on numerous occasions, sent the police on a wild goose chase.
