A high delegation led by The transitional Federal Government police commander Abdi Hassan Awale Qeybdid has reached in Galka'o town in Mudug region, officials told Shabelle radio on Tuesday.
Reports say that the commander and his delegation had reached at the town on Tuesday afternoon and were welcomed greatly by the officials of both the semi-autonomous region of Puntland and Galmudug state who were waiting the commander and his delegation in the international airport of Galka'o town.
Locals said that the TFG delegation was led to Tar City hotel in the outside of Galka'o town in Mudug region.
Reports say that the commander was accompanied by the minister of state of the interior affairs and one of the Somali MPs and their main trip to Galka'o town was reportedly said that it relates to wrap up training for Somali police forces in Armo district in Bari region which is member of the Puntland administration.
Mr. Qeybdid told reporters in Galka'o airport that they will meet with both Galmudug state, Puntland and the elders in south and north of Galka'o town adding that the TFG is continuing efforts of training to enforce the Somali police.
Independent reliable sources told Shabelle radio that the police commander will leave from Galka'o town to Garowe, the regional city of Puntland where he will meet with the president of Puntland administration Abdurrahman Farole and the security officials in the region.
