Kampala — THE coveted World Cup soccer trophy has just six more destinations to make before its high-profile and historic entry to Uganda.
The four-month Coca Cola-sponsored trophy tour, which kicked off in Egypt on September 24, is expected to traverse more than 50 African countries.
The trophy will be taken to Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Burundi, Rwanda and Kenya on its way to Uganda.
It was in DR Congo and Congo Brazzaville at the weekend.
In Uganda, free tickets to the tour will be made available during Coca-Cola promotions on radio stations starting on November 10.
During the official trophy presentation at Lugogo, fans will have the opportunity to have a souvenir photo taken of themselves with the trophy.
