Kampala — TWO Pakistanis and a Nigerian are in detention at Kabalagala Police Station over alleged possession of heroin and marijuana.
Rwizan Mohamoud and Asghar Mohammed were arrested on Friday at a city inn on William Street in Kampala.
According to the Police spokesperson, Judith Nabakooba, the duo entered Uganda on October 24 via Entebbe International Airport.
"The intelligence network enabled us to track them to the inn. They claim it was in transit but we suspect it was meant for use here," Nabakooba told the press at the Police Headquarters yesterday.
The Nigerian, Emeka Iyke Nwabdu, was arrested on Thursday at Kazigo zone in Kiwatule.
The burly 30-year-old man has reportedly been on the Police list of people dealing in narcotics.
He was linked to a recent incident in which a man who had swallowed heroin pellets was arrested at Entebbe Airport.
Nabakooba added that they would liaise with immigration officials to deport the suspects.
