Nigeria: Ndanusa Ready for Olympic Committee Election

3 November 2009

SPORTS Minister, Sani Ndanusa, ended speculations over his interest to become President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, NOC, when he collected, filled and returned the form at the secretariat of the NOC in Lagos yesterday.

Speculations have been rife over the Minister's interest but his action yesterday put the rumours to rest. Elections of the NOC have been fixed for December 9 in Jigawa State. Ndanusa would vie against incumbent President, Habu Gumel.
