Lagos — In fulfilment of its commitment to youth and sports development, Emirates, an Official FIFA Partner has donated match tickets to Community High School and Stadium High School both of Lagos for the on going FIFA U-17 World Cup in Nigeria.
These match tickets will enable future football stars to witness first-hand the matches between their favourite countries in the FIFA U-17 World Cup. Making the presentation in Lagos, the Country Manager, Paulos Legesse, described the gesture as a demonstration of the company's commitment not just to the development of sports in Nigeria, but the overall development of the Nigerian society.
"As an Official FIFA Partner, we enjoy being able to help promote the sport of football to the younger generation, which is why we have invited young football fans from these two schools as guests of Emirates. We realize that the FIFA U-17 World Cup is extremely popular with this group of people and is also an avenue for Emirates to bring the sport of football to a wider audience."
