The Cameroon Shooting Sport Federation, FECATIR, is currently organising a two-week training seminar for first level trainers of athletes in the sport discipline. The seminar which began on Monday November 2, will run up to November 14 and is run by two French experts, Lejard Yves and Jacques Trove, sent by the International Shooting Sport Federation, ISSF.

Speaking the opening ceremony at the campus of the higher institute of youth and Sports, INJS, Yaounde, the President of FECATIR, Dieudonné Ayissi said the seminar was the fruit of collaboration with the former president of the French shooting sport federation, Jacques Trove, who guaranteed Cameroon's readiness to practise the sport at ISSF. When the Cameroon Shooting Sport Federation was rejuvenated recently he lobbied for trainers to be sent to Cameroon and opted to be one of them.
