Bui CPDM militants ready to celebrate with PM.
There have been bee hive preparations in Bui Division ahead of the celebration of the 27th anniversary of President Paul Biya's accession to power on November 6th 1982. Prime Minister, Head of Government Yang Philemon, a guest of honour, at the occasion has been invited by the Fons of Bui to come and commune with them in order to thank President Paul Biya for the appointment of their illustrious son.
The Senior Divisional Officer for Bui, Mr. Panjouono Daniel in preparation of that occasion has held a series of sensitization meetings at Kumbo and in the Elak Council Hall Oku with political leaders of various parties and Fons to mobilize the population to massively attend the occasion. The Section President of Bui CPDM, Shey Ngah Maishu Ferdinand held a second planning meeting with the section executives and the sub section presidents of the CPDM in the Merry Land Hotel Kumbo last Monday to have first hand information of the CPDM party militants to live and witness the occasion. Shey Ngah Ferdinand in his speech at the occasion said the meeting was meant to make inventory of the CPDM party that exist in each sub section so as to give Prime Minister, Head of Government, Yang Philemon a rousing and benefiting welcome. He said the visit of the Prime Minister, Head of Government was an occasion to reawaken party activities in the section. Shey Ngah Maishu Ferdinand said he will feed all the executives of the Five Bui CPDM Sections and all the Sub Section Presidents of the Five CPDM Section in his house on the 6th of November 2009. At the meeting, the militants decided that the banners for occasion in Kumbo be made by the Section and launched for an appealed for funds to be raised on the spot for banners to be made. On the spot, a sum of 172.500 FRS was raised.
Amongst those who contributed the highest were Bui I CPDM Section Treasurer Mr. Fidelis Wirkom and a young businessman Mr. Rogers Samoa who donated 50.000 FRS each. The Bui I YCPDM Section Mr. Kimbif Wilfred Nyuyshembam like Vitalis Mbinkar, Shey George Nyang, Lukong George a businessman and Shey Justin Ngong each donated 10.000 FRS. Mr. Kimbif Wilfred lauded the enormous contribution made by Shey Ngah Maishu Ferdinand towards the party particularly the bulldozing of the premises of the Bui CPDM Party Secretariat Tobin. The streets in Kumbo Town have all been perfectly cleaned under the supervision of the Divisional Officer for Kumbo Central Sub Division Mr. Itoe Peter Mbongo. The meeting was witnessed amongst others by Bui I WCPDM Section President Dr. Mrs. Yah Louisa Nyuyseni.
