The Kanifing Magistrates court, presided over by Magistrate James George, last Wednesday, ordered MP Trading to pay one Sohna Jobe the sum of D4,800, being the cost of a refrigerator she bought from the said company.
According to the particulars of the claim, the plaintiff bought a refrigerator from MP Trading which proved to be far from effective. When she asked for her money back on several occasions, the company refused to refund her.
