Tunis — The Tunisian Junior Lawyers Association (ATJA) expressed the pride it takes in President Zine el Abidine Ben Ali's brilliant victory in the October 25, 2009 presidential elections. This victory, it points out, shows the attachment of the Tunisian people, all components and categories included, to President Ben Ali and renewal of the pledge with the Head of State in recognition for the gains Tunisia made under his judicious leadership.
In a message to the Head of State, ATJA praises the contents of the new presidential electoral programme which contains a set of measures encompassing all areas and all categories. ATJA commends the President of the Republic's keenness to strengthen the pluralistic democratic process in Tunisia, to confirm the values of tolerance, solidarity and moderation and consolidate the foundations of the rule of law and institutions.
ATJA reasserts attachment to President Ben Ali and its adherence to his pertinent guidelines so that Tunisia carry on its reform and change process resolutely and steadily.
