PATHCARE Nigeria , the premier Pathology Services Company has extended its high quality services in Lagos through the opening of its Festac Depot recently. The occasion was an opportunity to Introduce Path provider, a free online results delivery system.
PathCare Nigeria has revolutionized medical Laboratory practice in Nigeria , as the first ISO 15189 Accredited Laboratory, utilizing cutting edge Technology, and implementing quality assurance programs that ensure reliable and accurate results.
PathCare Nigeria provides the widest range of tests in Nigeria in all the fields of Pathology, at an affordable price. Offering tests from the basic to the highly sophisticated, PathCare now provides many essential tests which were previously locally unavailable, and people needed to travel abroad to conduct.
In her welcome address, Prof. Ibironke Akinsete, Chairman, PathCare Nigeria , stated that the opening of the Depot in Festac located at Nymph Plaza , Plot E 1st Avenue, is part of PathCare Nigeria 's fulfillment of its promise to positively impact the health of Nigerians by providing access to International standard laboratory services.
The new PathCare Depot in Festac Town is expected to serve Festac Town , Satellite Town , Mile-2, Amuwo Odofin and its environs. Pathcare has its Central Laboratory in Victoria Island and another depot in Ikeja, all in Lagos . The top range laboratory also has offices in Abuja , Port Harcourt and Warri and hopes to extend its operations to other parts of Nigeria in due time.
Also commenting at the Launch, Dr. Kingsley Nwadiani of Labonne Asante Hospital based around Festac said that the move by PathCare was extremely welcomed as qualitative services were needed in the area. He praised the initiative as laudable; emphasizing that doctors need the wide range of tests offered by PathCare Nigeria to be able effectively manage their patients.
Dr. Pamela Ajayi, the Managing Director of PathCare Nigeria , who also spoke at the opening used the opportunity to highlight that PathProvider, an online service owned by PathCare will also be available to doctors in the area. She explained that the Path provider ensures that Doctors can access all their patients' results within minutes of completion of the Tests at PathCare Laboratory by just a click of the mouse on the computer.
