Abuja — Eterna Oil &Gas Limited has launched a new product, the 2T lubricating oils, designed to cater for two stroke engines.
The new lubricant was launched yesterday in Lagos at a road show by the Managing Director of Eterna Plc Mr. Ibrahim Boyi.
He said Eterna is also repackaging its existing lubricants to serve the ever increasing demands of customers.
Boyi said that the idea behind the Eterna 2T was borne out of the need to meet the persistent demand for high quality lubricants for two stroke engines such as motor cycles, lawnmowers, water pumps and out-board engines.
According to him, the timing of launch and road show is to complement the effort of the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) and the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) in ensuring that consumers are offered quality products to protect them against the proliferation of sub-standard and adulterated oils that are harmful to their vehicles, equipment and the environment.
The road show is also slated to take place in Ibadan, Aba, Port-Harcourt, Enugu, Onitsha, Kano, Kaduna & Abuja where consumers will have an opportunity to experience the Eterna value first hand and have their lubrication questions resolved by the company's experienced technical sales executives.
Boyi further said that the new packaging embodies the Eterna brand for quality, ease of use and value to the company's customers, adding that it comes with multi layer tamper proofing and product calibration.
